Partner With Us
Help us find the right young people
Schools, sports clubs, community organisations and individual coaches and mentors play a vital role in helping the Mann Foundation identify and support young people who would benefit from the Fellowship.
Why partnerships matter
The Foundation cannot find the right young people on its own. We rely on the people who work with young people every day — who see their potential, understand their circumstances and have earned their trust — to bring suitable candidates to our attention.
A partnership with the Mann Foundation is not a formal or complicated arrangement. It is a shared commitment to the same goal: making sure that talented, driven young people in North East England get the support they deserve.
Who we work with
Schools and colleges
Teachers and pastoral staff are often the first to recognise a young person's potential and the barriers they face. We welcome relationships with schools and colleges across the North East.
Sports clubs
Coaches and club officials see young people at their most motivated and most challenged. We are particularly interested in working with clubs whose members include young people from less advantaged backgrounds.
Community organisations
Youth clubs, community groups, faith organisations and voluntary sector bodies often work with young people who are not well served by mainstream routes. We want to hear from you.
Individual coaches and mentors
If you work with young people in a coaching or mentoring capacity and believe in the Foundation's approach, we would welcome a conversation about how we might work together.
What partnership looks like
Partnership with the Foundation is straightforward. It means being willing to nominate young people you believe in, to support them through the Fellowship process and to remain a trusted presence in their lives.
We do not ask partner organisations to take on administrative burdens or formal commitments. We ask for honesty, care and a genuine belief in the young people you put forward.
